We are absolutely fucked and do you even know???

First, I apologize for the vile use of words, but like SWEAT, the wording has meaning and isn't just a colloquialism.  But seriously we are fucked and do you even know or matter-of-fact care?

NAFTA, which stands for the North American Trade Agreement, benefited the three main countries of North America: the US, Mexico, and Canada. The trade agreement between the three would have eliminated trade barriers and tariffs. Isn't that great right? Wrong. Companies would benefit from this and move their company factories over to Mexico which SWEAT accurately described. This would be due to a variety of reasons such as cheaper labor and the removal of the tariffs which would allow maximum profits for the companies but would reap no benefits for the workers on the ground in the US. 

Now, you might be asking, Evan, where is the part that we are fucked. Well, we have new ideas that plague us today that are all over the world. If you know me on a personal level then you might know my ideals and beliefs, but let me give you some ideas. LGBTQ, DEI, etc. The reason I quote only the first two is because currently, they are the ones that bear the most problems to society, while I believe that they have good intentions, the actions they have taken say otherwise. At Troy High, both seem mildly present, which of course is something that must be done to achieve federal funding and maintain some standard to what the government wants.

Another thing that is plaguing us is foreign countries,  China for producing a majority of products in the US, however, due to recent tariffs on Chinese products, they have decided to build their factories in Mexico, the same company, but in a different location, meaning they still reap the benefits of cheap labor and escape the tariffs. This is seen from simple items like clothing items to vehicles. 

So, I just gave a simple rundown on the problems, do you know any of them, if you do, do you even care. Along with the presidential election not even within two weeks from now, these ideas are all on one political campaign and the other one rejects and is willing to do something about it. 

In summary, we are cooked, nobody knows anything and if they do, they believe in the wrong stuff. All over the neighborhood, we are divided, Trump vs Harris,  

"oh, he supports and is like Hitler, oh it's time for reform we need a female in the presidency and we need diversity."

In the chaos you need to make up your mind, read and learn like Mr. Stan says. Have mental control over yourself and develop your own opinion despite the world we live in and the indoctrination that is happening. Resist the slave mind.
